Proof is in the pudding they say and this certainly applies when it comes to high converting website designs. Taking a look at the portfolio of your potential Brisbane website design business is a key filter in the decision making process.
Their portfolio should reflect a variety of different designs, each with various goals and objectives.
Today we will look into four website designs completed by our company, Alinga Website Design.
High Converting Website Designs
#1: Tropicsurf
The Tropicsurf website makes it clear they offer luxury surfing experiences thanks to the tag line and the big feature photos on the home page.
The luxury surfing industry is still in the early days and a bit of research shows that they are dedicated professionals. The first item on the menu is trips where you get the choice to contact the team for availability.
While you will soon find out they sell surfing experiences, the menu that we designed provides detailed options for user’s accessing the site. The brief was to provide a user-friendly experience, and we believe that this was well and truly delivered.
#2: The Hat Store
The Hat Store is Australias number one store for hat and accessories, needing no introduction as to who they are if you’re a hat lover.
As soon as you land on the website, you receive a pop up box to enter in email details. The goal for The Hat Store is to collect emails for future promotions but in order to alleviate the sometimes frustration that people experience from a pop up box, they offer a $5 off voucher on your next purchase. This was something we advised them to implement during our website design brief.
Once you have filled out the pop up box or closed it, you are taken straight into category pages. Each category provides you with more details and a list of the types of brands and hats available. This site is one of the highest converting online stores in Australia.
#3: Pura Air
Pura Air, a supplier of commercial air purifiers feels as though the sales funnel for their product is long, which makes sense as the orders can quickly reach five, even six figures on a commercial scale.
The first thing to note is the education they provide on the home page, within a few seconds you know their air purifiers can remove nasty odours and they can make common rooms smell nice. This was something they wanted to make a feature of their homepage to remove the barrier to entry on why you would need an air purifier.
The header is then where most draw their eye to where you can find out which products they offer and the client testimonials ensure they can be trusted with such high ticket items.
Finally, the contact number is really clear, so that when you want to make an order, you can just picke up the phone.
The Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy is held once a year and this is the focal point of information about the event.
On the homepage your eyes are instantly attracted to the feature slider, which Alinga created to feature the latest news about the event. The rest of the information users may want about the event is then listed in a menu across the top in an easy to understand format.
They also offer packages to fans to attend the event with the positioning of this less prominent to new users.
The sites featured above all offer a different experience. Once on their websites, the Brisbane website design needs to be great in order for customers to follow through on what they want to happen, which was the main brief for all of these sites.
Comparing the two surfing related websites is also a great chance to show how websites vary within industries.
